Default Re: Sucking antifreeze, intake oil leak

Now it is using coolant. I see no sign of coolant in the oil, no foaming, but I do have oil in the radiator. I saw the thread where syntheticshield was having about the same problem. I plan on replacing the intake gasket and rebuilding the blower, as it has been overdriven for 100k mi. 3" I think, first undersize. Kinda souds like a pecan crusher. My question is, where is the coolant going, no leaks, is the coolant leak a result of the failed intake gasket, or should I pull the heads while I have it apart to replace the gaskets? Yow I thouht of that but no. Its too specialised. no got. I found Spe superchargers in Edmond. The'll rebuild the nose and swap the pulley for $75 including the oil for the SC. Thats what they said anyway, we'll see? Sounds like a really good deal. I have been told by the dealership that the shifter and solenoid is a one piece deal, $250-$300 . Does anyone know if you can get any shifter from a salvage yard or do you have to get it from the dealership. The guy at the dealership said there were 4 different ones. Thanks again and sorry for the delay in the posts on the matter. Hey sorry it took me so long to try the remedy. Took lower panel off, and sprayed a little WD-40 on the solenoid, just enough to help it stop sticking. So far seems to be working. Thanks a lot for your help. My wife really appreciates it! LOL!!!
